1968 GTO Horn Relay Location - Pontiac GTO Forum
Apr 13, 2011 · 1968 GTO Horn Relay Location. My horn stopped working a few weeks ago in my '68. I ordered a replacement relay from Ames. The replacement has four terminals. I went to replace what I thought was the horn relay, but it has only three terminals, in a different configuration. This relay is on the passenger side of the firewall, near the a/c unit.

Dec 14, 2020 · 68 Lemans driver door stuck. So I recently got the ignition fiasco sorted out and now what's giving me the most trouble is the driver side door not opening. I'm currently in the process of taking off the door panel to better see but what's got me stumped is the handle that rolls the window up and down, particularly taking it off.

They have a 3-1/2” bore. They have 4 bolt mounting. They have “flair nut” fittings. They have 36 spline input shaft 13/16”.

Factory mounting location of 1968 horns | Pontiac GTO Forum
Oct 6, 2018 · The Service Manual for 1968 shows the horn placement for the full sized cars on page 639 and there is a poor example of the Tempest horn placement which also includes the horn relay on page 641, but it appears to be about the same. Take another look at your manual if you missed it. :thumbsup: Thank you for your input.

The photo below shows my stock 68 Drum brake spindle and a drum spindle bought from a junkyard. Supposedly it was from a Chevelle, year unknown. Ed. Resident Curmudgeon.
